So, Clapton wrote this song for him. I recommend you guys listen to this song because it has such a nice meaning. The lyrics describe the feeling of missing someone who is gone. Although it is sad, but it can give some encouragement. The verse "I must be strong and carry on 'cause I know I don't belong here in heaven" means that you can be sad and sorry, but life goes on.
