Why do we need to study history in school?

What is that we have inherited from them? What is it that we have to do to be like them? It helps us understand everything about our past.

All we as teachers need to know is that teachers must follow the national curriculum. History is the subject included in the national curriculum, so it is no use wondering if it is good or not good to learn history. I, myself, do believe that it is never useless to learn things in the past to prevent it from happening again in the present. When I was young I don't like history because I think it's bored and it too much such as Thai history and international history.
