Why we have to study?

For me, I am not sure why we need to study, but I think studying help us be a better person. Studying can help us develop ourselves by having us learn about what we have not known. It also teaches us how to survive in the real world by providing us a chance to experience a lot of things. I think it makes people have more confidence. If we have been educated, we will not be afraid of anyone just believe in ourselves.
