Should a teacher be a listener or speaker?

In my opinion, it's important to be a speaker for teaching or giving instructions. However, I think a teacher should also have the characteristic of being a good listener.
Because in the class students do not want to hear every time, they need people who can listen to them as well.
And when a teacher develops this patient quality in himself or herself, he or she starts to become a good teacher.
