What makes a person fun?

In my opinion, a person is fun if he has the following qualities:
He/She is optimistic
He/She does not complain about others or his surroundings.
He/She is making his surrounding entertaining, not necessarily by cracking jokes all the time.
When someone is present in his vicinity, his positive energy spreads everywhere in such a way that even if the other person is sad, he becomes happy by the radiation of the funniest person.

I believe life is fun. I also believe if your not having much fun in life something needs to change. It seems to me that the older I get the more I notice people around me who don’t seem to have a lot of fun. Fun is a word that must be defined by each individual. For some it may be a hobby, for other it may be work, but each person has their own idea of what fun is.

In my opinion, a fun person is not someone who can recite hundreds of jokes.
It's not necessarily a stand up comedian or a comedy writer.
Fun is a person who is able to create an environment in which everyone can be fun and have a good time.
