How can you make others respect you?

Personally, I think the best way to let others respect you is to respect others first.
It is simple as this, because nowadays I don't think people respect others that much.

First, I think we need to respect ourselves. You have to believe that you are as good as others. I mean you have to know what is and is not your strength. Then you have to improve yourself in order to make others respect you.

For me, there are two simple ways that I think it too easy to do it. The first one is respecting other people first. You have to be polite to everyone you meet or talk to during the day. The second is to be yourself. I think everyone should have a sense of identity themselves because nobody respects a person who tries to be another person or wear a mask to another.

I just be whoever I am. I have never pretended to be someone else.

If you want the respect from people, you have to respect them, first. It is an easy way to gain the respect from others without pretending. And the ways to show that you are respecting people is that you have to listen to what people are speaking. It is a simple way to show that you respect everyone. I believe everybody wants to feel that they are being listened to.

- Give others the same respect you'd like to receive yourself.
- Seek out actions you can take to offer politeness.

When I say something, I have to think carefully using the words that not hurt someone.
