Actually, I love this kind of food. I think Esan food is good for our health if you consume it sufficiently. Bamboo shoot soup with ant's eggs is my favorite one that is very healthy and delicious. The nutrient of soup made of Yanang leaves can heal many diseases such as cancer.

Yes, I really like Esan food. Somtum is my favorite Esan food. A spicy papaya salad comprised of shredded green papaya, green beans, tomatoes, peanuts, lime, dried shrimp, garlic, chili peppers, fish sauce, and palm sugar. All the ingredients are pounded together in a mortar and the result is a salty, tangy, slightly sweet and sometimes very spicy, crispy salad. I really love it!
