It is possible and I think it is a very good opportunity to do so.
When you live in other countries, their language becomes easy to learn because you have to interact with local people almost daily at shops, restaurants, etc.
It was difficult in starting, but as the days passed, it started to become easier and easier.

I mean difficult surroundings force us to learn the language quickly to survive.
