Are you a straightforward person?

Normally, I am not a straight-forward person. I'm quite worried about my words or speech which can hurt the listener. Sometime, I try to find the way to speak appropriately with others in order to make them comfortable. Sometimes, I lie in order to avoid the problem.
However, I will be a straight-forward person when I am with my best friends.

I have to let you know that I am a very straightforward person. I think it is good to say or do the right thing with no fear for those breaking the rules. We need to bear in mind that the problems of corruption happening now may come from those who are afraid to say the truths. If we are not straightforward, we might find it difficult later to live our lives in this cruel society. However, we need to be merciful sometimes. Most importantly, we need to know the time and place, too in order to save ourselves.
