Personally, I takes time on the information which I have to memorize.
I read it at least three times. Then, I summarizes and takes notes on my notebook.

Become interested in what you're learning. We're all better remembering things that interest us, if you're not interested in what you're learning or trying to remember, you must find a way to become so. Because in that way data goes into your long term memory or else without interest data goes into your short term memory which is of no use.
