It is simailar to Thai. That's why I can speak, read and write in Lao.

My mom came from the province that near to Laos,

Apart from Thai and English, I can speak, read, and write little Laos language since I took a Laos for a communication course. However, my Laos accent is very bad. lol I can also speak a little Chinese because I took a course, too. When I watch a Chinese series, I can understand some words. I wish I would be able to speak Chinese fluently.

In this course, I have learned about some vocabulary, structures, and conversation. In my point of
view, French conversation is quite easy, but French grammar is so difficult. Now, I can listen and speak French a little bit.

When i was a kid, i used to speak Phu-thai language as well cause my dad can speak that.

I can speak and read Laos because my grandparents came from Lao.
I always spoke Laos to my grandmother when she was still alive, but now she passed away, I have no chance to speak Laos to anyone.

The reason why I can speak Khmer is that my hometown speaks the Khmer language.
