Do you prefer to watch movies at home or at a theater? Why?

This depends entirely on the movie in question. If it’s a “popcorn movie” I prefer to visit the cinema for a fuller experience. If it’s more cerebral in nature or writing style - or something likely to wring me out emotionally - then I prefer to watch in the privacy of my home comforts. Other people talking or rustling sweet wrappers during critical moments is likely to cause a psychotic break, so it’s really a public service I’m providing by staying home for these types of films.
