Do you like Buffet?

No, I do like buffet because there are too many choices and I am not a big eater. Three items on my plate are enough. Most of the times the foods are poorly prepared. If you look at the people who are eating at these places you will find them to be mostly obese. I do love a big salad bar though, but again, cleanliness and food temp keep me away from most.

People think that they are putting one over on the restaurant because they eat more than they would normally be served. But the cost of the food and prep for buffet setups is very carefully calculated, and the occasional person who manages to gorge on more than the average serving of expensive fare is made up for by the vast majority of people who eat the less costly items and only eat a reasonable amount of food.

At a buffet-style meal, I can get up and refill whenever I like.
I don’t have to pass dishes around the table all night, and no one has to wait for seconds.
